Piningo 1.0 has now been submitted to Apple for review.
Piningo is a private place-pin app for iPhone, with a companion Apple Watch app for quick capture when you are out and about. The goal is simple: save places that matter to you, organize them in your own way, and come back to them later on a map that belongs to you.
Version 1.0 includes:
- a map-first iPhone experience centered on your current location
- custom categories with editable names, icons, and colors
- pin creation with optional notes
- pin editing for categories, notes, and location
- category filtering on the map
- Apple Watch quick capture for saving a pin from your wrist
- offline watch queueing with later sync back to the iPhone
The app is designed as a personal memory tool, not a social network. There are no accounts, no public feeds, and no app-owned backend.
The review process is now underway, and more updates will land here once the first version is live.
